Currently I am engaged in a practicum working one-on-one with children with behavioral issues at an elementary school. I am also working with female trauma survivors in a group setting.
My philosophy is that we all have a purpose in life and it is our job to find out what that purpose it.
Start by asking: What is important to you? What are your values? What are you a stand for? How can you serve the world with your greatness and become part of the solution? Where do you find inspiration?
By connecting clients to their ultimate mission statement or vision for the future, it becomes a guiding light for the unfolding of their lives. Each choice you make subsequently builds upon one another, so make your choices count. Take one step at a time, allow it to unfold naturally without pushing or straining. Pursue your dreams and let your heart guide you – the rest will follow.
Here is my favorite quote from Marrianne Williamson from her book A Return to Love:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I also work from a strengths and potential -oriented perspective, gently guiding individuals to look within and to own their gifts. I focus on building up the client and I am convinced that we all have the ability to heal our wounds and develop into our highest potential with gentle care, focus and dedication. I take a stand for your greatness and with empathy and compassion, am there to encourage you when you feel like playing small. We create opportunities by asking for them – by having clarity of thought in alignment with our inner guidance system, and through the magic of imagination, we work to bring your dreams to fruition.
